Second part of the Verdaguer Crossing; in the first we left the village where Father Cinto Verdaguer was born, now passing through the Sanctuary of the World, where Verdaguer was inspired by the poem Canigó and on days with visibility you can see it perfectly, on this occasion we will start by making a crossing to this emblematic mountain; Canigó, also enjoying landscapes and autumn beech forests.

We will cross regions such as Garrotxa, Alt Empordà in Catalonia and Vallespir and Conflent in France.

1st day: We leave L’Alt Empordà, going up to the Santuari del Mon and crossing towards La Garrotxa: 15 km 950m of elevation gain uphill

2nd day: We will walk through leafy and varied landscapes through Garrotxines terroirs, entering Alt Empordà again; 16,900 km 1030 m of elevation gain

Day 3: We will cross a pass in France where we will have better views and be closer to our goal, Canigó; 19,200 km 975 m of elevation gain +

4th We begin to climb meters of elevation approaching the Canigó massif; 12,500 km 1330 m of elevation gain +

5th We follow the Serra del Canigó to get closer to the foot of the mountain with good views; 16,200 km 980m elevation gain +

6th The big day climb to the peak of Canigó one of the emblematic peaks of Catalonia and France and one of the 50 Summits SR Routes
