This summer, the Gran Sasso, another of the Emblematic Mountains of the Mediterranean located in the Apennines in Italy.
It is the highest in the Apennines, within the Gran Sasso and Monte de la Laga National Park, in southern Italy in the central Apennines in the region of Abruzzo, known for its landscapes and natural beauties, parks, and reserves…
The Gran Sasso is a formidable limestone mountain, split by lush valleys and surrounded by beautiful villages. Among other peaks, it forms an environment of great beauty.
We will make a traverse to get to know each corner well.
Since it is open to the public, I propose two different routes:
A – one in the form of a traverse where we have some more climbing,
B – circulars and one day traverse through a lush valley, in both, we climb the Gran Sasso
Day 1 travel and ascent with a short trek to sleep in a refuge
2nd day ascent to the Corno Grande of the Gran Sasso, the highest point with climbs without difficulty
3rd day circular route to climb another peak with splendid views and return through a lush valley
4th day visit and a short trek to visit the Castell di Monte and some caves
5th day transfer to the airport and return flight Plan
