Turbón 50 Peaks and Peña Montañesa

Turbo

One of the 50 emblematic peaks in Aragon El Turbó, an enigmatic 2492 m high peak

I propose you Three days of trekking to discover two of the most emblematic mountains of the Aragonese Pyrenees: the Turbón and the Peña Montañesa. with 2 days of crossing the Turbón and a third day dedicated to the Peña Montañesa . A route that combines a two-day crossing through the Turbón massif with the ascent to the Peña Montañesa, a large lookout over the Sobrarbe region.

During the first two days we will enter the Turbón massif , a very characteristic mountain with its own personality, known as the “rock island” because it rises imposingly and isolated from the surrounding valleys. The trek will allow us to enjoy its landscapes, forests, ridges and wide panoramic views of the Pyrenees.

On the third day we will move to the Peña Montañesa , one of the most representative mountains of Sobrarbe. Its rocky silhouette is easily identifiable from many areas of the region and, from the summit, we will enjoy a magnificent panorama over the Ara valley, the Cinca valley and the great Pyrenean mountains .

With routes that will surprise you, an ideal proposal for people looking for nature and landscape , discovering two lesser-known areas of the Pyrenees and combining a crossing with an ascent of great scenic interest.
